What is AFAP?

When it comes to alcohol production, the balance among the sweetness of rice, the sourness generated from the process of fermentation and bitterness must be carefully considered. 

To attain the delicate balance, the craftsmen have to be taking good care of the speed, strength and timing of the fermentation. In short, the responsibility to bring out the best of the raw material of the alcohol is taken seriously by all the craftsmen in the brewery behind AFAP.

As you can see from the photos, even the brand label is filled with cute characters and colorful fruit illustrations - making AFAP a great gift for all kinds of special occasions ranging from parties to anniversary celebration.

The fruity sweetness of AFAP would make a refreshing match with fish cuisine with a lemon sauce. Assorted with vegetables, the dish is also a simple family recipe since all of the ingredients can be easily purchased in supermarkets and convenience stores!

Sauteed White Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients (for two)

  • White fish fillet such as sea bream, salmon, codfish; 2 slices
  • Cake flour
  • Olive oil, 1 tablespoon
  • Butter, 20g 
  • Milk, 2 tablespoon
  • Lemon sauce, 10ml / 2 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  1. Boil the vegetables.
  2. Sprinkle the white fish fillets with a pinch of salt and pepper and lightly dust with flour.
  3. Heat up the frying pan. Pour olive oil into the pan, fry the fillets with the skin side down until the skin is crispy.
    Turn the fillets over and fry until the skin is crispy.
  4. Wipe the frying pan clean with kitchen paper and heat the butter and milk over low heat. 
    When the butter is completely melted, add in lemon sauce and mix well to prevent separation. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Arrange the vegetables and sautéed fish on a plate and pour over the sauce.
