Onitaiji is made in the Okayama prefecture in Japan, which is famous for its fruits. This is why there are three different flavors, due to the wide variety of fruits in this region. The three flavors are white peach, yuzu mint, and mikan mint.
They all are made by mixing shochu as the base of the drink with the juice of these popular fruits from this region, fructose, and Hakka extract. These fruits are yuzu, mandarins, and white peaches. Plus, even the mint used in Yuzu Mint and Mikan Mint is sourced from Okayama.
The base fruit flavors of each one give a sweet taste, and at 7–8% alcohol content, they can all be drunk smoothly. We advise you to serve them as chilled as possible!
